We’re excited to share Barb Witwer has joined the FSI team as an interior designer. Since earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the University of Kansas, she has worked in the Kansas City metro area as an interior designer in various capacities.
With a background in the commercial furnishings industry, she brings experience in interior design, space planning, furniture specification, facilities planning and move management to our team. We asked her to share a little about herself. Here’s what she had to say:
What is your favorite thing to do in Kansas City?
There are so many fun things to do in KC that it’s hard to choose just one! One of the things I enjoy most is spending an evening at the K with my husband, sipping a Boulevard Wheat beer and watching our Royals play ball. I also love to go to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, taking in the special exhibits, as well as the wonderful permanent ones.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
My favorite thing to do is spend time with family (especially my husband and our three wonderful daughters) and friends, whether it’s taking a walk, watching old movies or sharing a nice meal and conversation together.
What do you like best about FSI?
There are so many things I like about FSI, but what I like best is the people. It is a joy to work with such a friendly and talented group, who work hard for their customers, yet still manage to maintain a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I’m so grateful to work here!
