Over the last several years, our architectural products division has been partnering with general contractors (GC) to source unusual products and finishes being specified on commercial projects. Whether we’re searching for the perfect glass wall, ordering large volumes of roller shades or providing moss walls to bring the outdoors in, collaborating with GC’s is something we do on daily basis.
Since FSI was founded in 1985, we have built relationships with a number of specialty manufacturers, allowing us to quickly source atypical products needed on commercial projects. This experience helps ensure procurement is efficient. We understand lead times and the kind of information that needs to be provided upfront, like schedules and costs.
The project managers in our architectural products division handle all phases of a project, from budgeting and design support to installation, maintenance and warranty. The services we provide vary widely based on the project scope, but we’re available to help whenever needed.
After we’ve been selected, we begin to supply samples, cut sheets and shop drawings, so we can coordinate with the GC and other applicable trades. Throughout the project, we participate in coordination meetings with the entire team to ensure everyone is on the same page. When our products are ready for installation, we’re onsite to manage that process. We continue to provide maintenance and management of our products after completion.
