Linda Peterson recently joined the FSI team as an estimating/project coordinator in our architectural products division. Originally from London, Ontario, Canada, she moved to the States in 2010 to earn a degree at Missouri Southern State University. Two years ago, she relocated to Kansas City and became a U.S. citizen this past August.
Following graduation, Linda worked in purchasing and supply chain roles. Whether she’s estimating architectural products or coordinating projects, she’s quickly become an asset around our office. When we asked her to share a little about herself, this is what she had to say:
What is your favorite thing to do in Kansas City?
There’s never a shortage of options when it comes to finding things to do in KC. I love to go antiquing in the West Bottoms, try new restaurants or check out an art festival or concert that’s in town. There is always something to see.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work, I like to refinish antique furniture finds or be a homebody with my boyfriend and our two dogs. I’m also learning how to machine sew, so I watch the odd online tutorial.
What do you like best about FSI?
The work culture at FSI is amazing! They are passionate about top-notch service and communication. I’m lucky to be growing alongside such a talented team.
