A few weeks ago, our team held a winter coat drive. We collected gently used and new coats, hats, scarves and blankets over the course of a week. To make a larger impact, we invited two other small businesses from our building to donate.
With those contributions, we were able to gather over 50 items. These will all be donated to the Johnson County Christmas Bureau. We selected this organization as the beneficiary, because they have a direct impact on our community here in Kansas City.
The Johnson County Christmas Bureau helps 10,000 to 12,000 Johnson County residents each year. They rely on community support, as they don’t receive any government funding. Their goal is to provide warmth and assistance during the winter season to local, low-income families. Learn how you can help here.
