We’re excited to announce we’ve added Mike Hutcheson to our team as an installation manager. Mike grew up in Olathe and began a career in installation at a young age. He progressed from car audio to home automation and AV, where he spent 13 years working as the installation manager for a well-known, local electronics company.
In 2017, Mike started his own business, where he continued honing his install skills and spending more time on building and customization. His experience in the installation field allows him to ensure that projects are installed correctly and that any issues are resolved. When we asked him to answer a few questions about himself, this is what he had to say:
What is your favorite thing to do in Kansas City?
My favorite thing to do in Kansas City is to support the Chiefs. The ideal day begins by arriving at Arrowhead very early in the morning to begin preparing the meal I’ll share with friends and family. Once inside the stadium, I am laser focused on the game and am proud to be part of the loudest fans in the country.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to smoke meats and entertain. I also really enjoy live music, time spent on the lake and anything involving sports.
What do you like best about FSI?
The thing I like best about FSI is the culture of the family owned business. I was welcomed by everyone and feel like I have known everyone for years already.
